Aromas of red cherry, strawberry with notes of pink grapefruit and a flick gun flint reduction. The palate is dry yet has soft and textural, juicy red fruit flavours are in twined with creamy textural notes all driven by a fresh pink grapefruit acid line.
Elected parcels of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier were handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly to old French oak barrels for natural fermentation, while the Pinot Gris parcel was fermented and left on skins for a period of 4 weeks. A selection of saignée barrels where lightly coloured juice is bled from the vats after 24 hours on skins, then barrel fermented in French oak casks was also included into the final blend. This wine is made in a dry savoury style.
