Winemaker's notes below, but we love its bright fresh fruit aromas, now with a a little charcuterie smokiness creeping in with the bit of bottle age and that very desirable 'umami' sweet/sour flavour.
Typical bright crimson colour and a fragrant aroma of red berries and spice speak clearly of the Mornington Peninsula. Punchy or lifted fruit characters on the palate that suggest raspberry and cherry lead through to a softening mid[1]palate with great texture. A tight structured wine that is slowly revealing itself. The length once again provides evidence of the origin with lingering elements of darker red fruits. Light on its feet the 2019 shows a perfumed nose with hints of freshly cut sage.
